Plastic Amnesty
Did you know that you can send me your waste plastics and I will make fun, innovative jewellery from them?
A few of my customers now have a "Lorelai Box" in their house, they fill it with all the waste plastics, tissue paper and other odds and ends they have and post it to me when it's full. I then refund their postage via PayPal.
Here's a rundown of the types of waste or excess materials that I collect:
Plastic carrier bags or mailing bags
I fuse layers of plastic bags together to create a material similar to faux leather and then cut shapes from it.
Plastic straws
Stop those single use plastic straws ending up stuck in a turtle's nose and send them my way to make sturdy, yet lightweight colourful jewellery

Bubble envelopes
I use bubble envelopes to make statement pieces that are squishy to the touch (they must be the kind with plastic on the outside, I can't use the paper ones)
Fruit netting bags
Bubble wrap
Mylar balloons
Fabrics
Craft materials like beads, sequins, threads etc
Small toys
The size of Kinder Egg toys or smaller, doll's accessories, Christmas cracker prizes, little charms and beads etc
Tissue paper
I try to use all recycled tissue paper to package my orders, so I use the wrappers from Who Gives a Crap toilet paper as my main source of packaging.
Yarn
I am collecting unwanted yarn to send to a lovely lady who makes clothes from secondhand materials
Charging cables/wires/broken headphones
I will taken any unwanted cables, please make sure that any ear/headphones are clean before sending
I do not collect food packaging or clear plastics, or toys larger than a Kinder Egg toy.
Send me an email or a message on Instagram or Facebook if you have materials you would like to send me
