Hello! I'm Lorelai, a colour loving, pattern clashing, tchotchke collecting jewellery designer! I work with waste plastics and other reclaimed materials to create colourful, statement jewellery. I believe that you can be eco-friendly and colourful at the same time! Beige is boring!

I used to work with laser cut acrylic but switched to more eco-friendly materials last year due to the ever increasing plastic pollution around the world. I am here to prove that plastic is a precious material made from a finite natural resource and not something to just use once and throw away; (because let's be honest, there is no “away”) Plastics can be repurposed and recycled in to beautiful objects both to wear and to decorate your home.

I have always had a creative streak and an interest in working with secondhand materials, as a teenager I used to collect toys and beads and other little plastic objects, and I would make jewellery, and decorate my backpack.

I have developed several techniques to turn waste plastics in to materials that I can use to create statement earrings and necklaces. I mostly work with single use plastic straws and carrier bags, but I also use little toys and beads and secondhand fabrics. I play and experiment with ideas and techniques all the time, to make sure that my brand produces zero waste.
